Operating in Cairns since 1991, we at Tooleys Waterblasting are now one of the largest high-pressure waterblasting businesses in the area. Operating out of workshop and office facilities in Edmonton, Cairns, we service all of Cairns and the Far North Queensland area including the Cape York region. Our team of waterblasters are highly experienced in all aspects of high-pressure blasting, and service the Marine, Industrial and Commercial sectors.
High pressure waterblasting is a dust-free method of blasting and is favoured for its low environmental impact. Unlike the use of dry abrasives, there is no danger from dust hazards. There is also less residual risk to the owner/ operator because contaminants do not become airborne and water blasters are not subject to lung injuries such as silicosis. What’s more, the use of waterblasting technology allows works to be done in areas where other conventional blasting methods would be impossible to operate, e.g. terminals, waterways, rainforest areas and urban areas.
We are now taking Waterblasting to the next level in Cairns with robotic-controlled, high pressure waterblasting. At safe high speeds and environmentally friendly, for the removal of coatings and concrete demolition. This machine is the only one of its kind in Queensland.
When high pressure waterblasting itself is not sufficient, in certain circumstances we use wet sandblasting to eliminate the majority of environmental hazards associated with abrasive blasting.
